Try answering these questions — it brings instant clarity:

 

Who is my target user?

What are their top 3 questions?

How can my content answer those?

What action do I want them to take after visiting?

 

This is a simple user-experience mindset. Even without technical or design experience, it helps you build a logical, effective website.
